9. Property Release.

Many beginning photographs do not even suspect that a signed document is required not only for Selling of people Images but for property objects, too.

Usage of the Image of somebody else’s property for commercial purposes without written permission of an owner is a violation of the law.

It is also illegal to use such Images for non-commercial purposes (as an editorial content), since it can compromise or offence the owner).

That is why Depositphotos highly recommends to obtain a property release for the object, depicted on the Image (house, garden, car, pet, interior and so on), since owner identity can be recognized based on such Images.

In such cases it is necessary to get a signature of the legal owner or his authorized representative.
